How to Connect to this server
With Downloads, Please Use Ausgamers, Only use Digital Darkness if Ausgamers isnt working as its slower and can lag the server for other players
If you already have WOW & TBC Skip to step 2
Step (1)
Install a Fresh Copy of World of Warcraft (CD Download Links CD1 CD2 CD3 CD4)
Install The Burning Crusade (If you have it) ( DVD ) When Asked to Upgrade your account, Select Skip! This is only for Blizzard Servers
Step (2) - Upgrade Client
- 2.4.0 Update ~ 980MB
- 2.4.1 Update ~ 5MB
- 2.4.2 Update ~ 15MB
- 2.4.3 Update ~ 24MB ************* do not install this update yet the server is not quite 2.4.3 compatable ***********
Step (3)
Edit the realmlist.wtf file to say "set realmlist digitald.hopto.org" OR Download and Install this pre-changed Realmlist File.
Step (4)
Change your WoW Shortcut, Otherwise when blizzard bring out a new patch your client will automaticlly download it and then you will not be able to connect. It also tends to change the Realmlist.wft back to default settings
Right Click on your World of Warcraft Shortcut Select Properties In the "Target" box you want to change the "Launcher.exe" to "Wow.exe" For example if it currently says "C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Launcher.exe" Change it to "C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Wow.exe"
